February 24th, 2024 Window Wanderland is returning to Southfields for its 8th year!
Window Wanderland is returning to Southfields for its 8th year on the evenings of 24th &25 February. A firm favourite in the Southfields Grid community calendar, over 1,000 windows have taken part in this festival of light and colour since it started in 2017. Window Wanderland brings communities together, reduces social isolation, inspires creativity and conversation, lights up our streets and brings some much-needed magic to the dark winter months. Organiser since the start, Samantha Traynor of Brookwood Road, says of Window Wanderland “It’s an absolute joy to arrange such a unique and special event for our community. Friday 8 March 2024: World Book Day
Please could your child come to school as their favourite book character today for World Book Day. You might see Cat in the Hat or Mary Poppins at the School gate! If this is not your normal session, you are most welcome.
Thursday 14 March 2023: Parents invite into WPMS
We would like to invite you into WPMS to meet all the teachers and for a short talk about “Developing Emotional Intelligence in the Early Years” by Jules Oakshett. Please do let your class teachers know if you can join us. Refreshments will be served from 7.15pm, talk at 7.30pm.
Wednesday 27 March 2024: Last Day of term: Easter Egg Hunt
Everyone welcome from 9am until 9.20am. We will meet opposite the Bowling Green in Wimbledon Park from 9am. All children to walk back to school for our Easter Yoga sessions 12 noon (Children only).
There will be no afternoon school.
